Because it is such a popular treatment, many no-medics do a one-day course and then immediately start offering filler. You cannot learn the anatomy and physiology on the perioral region in a day. Ask them the muscles around the mouth and I imagine they couldn’t. They also don’t understand the natural proportions of the lips. Plus often the Russian technique is used. This is an awful way to do lips for many reasons. I had to totally dissolve this filler and start again.
