It is certainly possible to fill lips with braces in place. Here I used 1ml of a soft hyaluronic acid filler placed with a microcannula to reduce pain, bruising, swelling, and increase safety.

This is done with a microcannula, and will last 12-18 months. 2mls used here.

I fix a lot of bad lip filler in Brighton. Because it is such a popular treatment, many no-medics do a one-day course and then immediately start offering filler.

You cannot learn the anatomy and physiology on the perioral region in a day. Ask them the muscles around the mouth and I imagine they couldn’t. They also don’t understand the natural proportions of the lips.

Plus often the Russian technique is used. This is an awful way to do lips for many reasons. I had to totally dissolve this filler and start again.

There is a reason my prices are higher that those of a non-medic ot even a nurse not specialising in the face!
